Rooms are decent. Beds are comfy. Breakfast could have more to offer though
Have stayed here many times over the years but this place could use some freshing up because it's not what it used to be. Had to ask to have our shower curtain changed because our bathroom smelled sour. This was taken care of the next time our room was cleaned. Needs a coat of paint and the house keeping needs to be more thorough. Not expecting the Four Seasons at a Super 8 but some attention to detail could help them compete with the very new and nice hotel that just opened up in town.
Charged for a room we did not receive. Staff was rude and would not accommodate on the things we paid for and unwilling to charge us with the lower level room we received and instead charged us at the higher price for bigger beds, we paid for 2 queen smoking, received 2 full non smoking. rude and dirty room. Will never go here again. Bleh.
Bed is clean and that's where the good stops. Hardly a breakfast, Wi-Fi is aweful, and the phones done even work.
My husband and I stayed there the night of our wedding (only option). The service was terrible and they had charged us for staying two nights when we only stayed one. They weren't very understanding and barely spoke English. I would recommend the new AmericaInn, if you're looking to stay in Humboldt.
If I would have known the other place was open I would have stayed there. Prices are pretty competitive.
